Understanding "Usage this month"
The Usage this month card appears on both the Dashboard and the Billing page, showing the same two numbers.

The two metrics
| Metric | What it counts |
|---|---|
| AI replies | How many replies Caro has sent this month, against your plan's monthly limit (e.g. "2 / 2,000" on Starter). |
| Trained pages | How many pages/items are indexed across your Sources (e.g. "20 · Unlimited" — this is unlimited on every plan, only AI replies are capped). |
What counts as an "AI reply"
Every message Caro sends back to a customer counts — across the storefront widget and every connected channel (Gmail, Telegram, WhatsApp). A single back-and-forth conversation with 3 customer messages and 3 Caro replies uses 3 of your monthly allowance, not 1.
What happens near the limit
Keep an eye on this card as you approach your monthly AI reply limit — see Plans and what they unlock for the reply allowance on each tier (2,000 on Starter, 5,000 on Growth, 15,000 on Pro). If your store is consistently near the ceiling, that's a concrete, usage-based signal that it's time to upgrade rather than guessing.
Trained pages is effectively unconstrained
Since Trained pages shows Unlimited on every plan, there's no usage-based reason to hold back on adding Sources — the only real limits on training content are the custom-source page quota mentioned on the Sources page itself, not this monthly usage card.
