What is AEO?+
AEO stands for answer engine optimization. It means making your store easy for AI assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity to find, understand and recommend when a shopper asks them what to buy. Think of it as SEO for AI answers.
Which AI assistants do you check?+
ChatGPT on every plan. Growth adds Gemini and Perplexity. Pro adds Claude and Grok, for five in total. Each is asked through its own provider's API with live web search on.
Do I have to write the buyer questions myself?+
No. Right after install, the app reads your products and writes the questions shoppers ask, then runs your first check. You can edit them, add your own, or ask for more suggestions at any time.
Will the app change my store without asking?+
No. The app installs read-only. AI-written product details, pages and blog posts are drafts: you review each one and nothing changes until you approve it. Shopify asks you for write permission the first time you apply a change.
What is Fill AI gaps?+
An AI gap is a buyer question where no AI assistant mentions your store. For each one, the app writes a page or blog post that answers it, from your real product data and photos, in your store's voice. You choose page or blog post, length, tone and products, preview it on your store and approve it. Then we check whether AI starts recommending you, and if it still doesn't after two checks, we draft a better version for you to approve. Free includes 3 AI pages a month; Starter 30, Growth 100 and Pro 300.
Are the answers the same as what a shopper sees?+
Close, but not always identical. We ask each assistant through its API with web search on, as a shopper in your country would. AI answers vary from one run to the next, so watch the trend over several checks rather than any single answer.
Can you guarantee that AI will recommend my store?+
No. Nobody controls what AI assistants say. The app shows where you stand, why others are picked, and helps you fix what is in your control: your product data, your pages and whether AI can reach your store.
How do you count sales from AI?+
Our storefront tracking spots visits that come from AI assistants, by their link (utm_source) or the page they came from. An order counts when that shopper visited from an AI assistant in the 30 days before. Shoppers who decline analytics tracking aren't counted.
How is it billed?+
Through Shopify, on your regular Shopify invoice. The Free plan needs no credit card, every paid plan has a 7-day free trial, and you can cancel any time by changing plan or uninstalling.
